F**k Ya Blogger.com! My Reader’s Blog Just Got Deleted
I am really sorry for my slang. But I have no other words to express. I just got an email from one of my readers. His PR3 blog CSdoon.org (Alexa 55k) just got deleted by Google.
Reason for deletion… spamming!!!
Think about his condition. His hard work to bring that blog to an awesome position has just wasted! And that all due to automatic spam prevention robot.
So far the owner of the blog has not done anything spammy on his blog. But still it happened.
Google can sincerely apologize for the mistake happened but what about the traffic decline due to this deletion. It will be hard to regain it to its earlier condition.
You don’t own your blog
A user has the copyright of the content they create on Blogger.com But according to Blogger.com Terms of Services, a Blogger user has no control on their blog and it can be suspended or deleted at any time.
Read the excerpts here
“We may add or remove functionalities or features, and we may suspend or stop a Service altogether.”…
Google may also stop providing Services to you, or add or create new limits to our Services at any time.”
2 Ways not to get pissed off!
If you are still on Blogger.com, here are some actions you must take to not get pissed off by automatic spam prevention robot.
1. Backup your posts every time.
2. Migrate your blog to self hosted WordPress as soon as possible.
Though you need to purchase hosting, WordPress is also free like Blogger. But in WordPress you have the full control whereas Blogger.com don’t provide that control and it can be deleted anytime.
