Social Media Impact On Blogging – Bloggers Should Know
Social Media Impact On Blogging is a huge topic of interest right now. Everyone is talking about how important it is to stay connected and networking with others. Social media allows people to stay connected, communicating, and viable more quickly and easy than ever before. But what do social media have to do with blogging? Are they two separate worlds, or are they interconnected?
Social Media Impact On Blogging
Social media sites are everywhere. The big names right now are Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. While these three sites all have very different audiences, they do all have one thing in common. They help people stay connected in a fresh, new, and consistent way. Everything is short, fast and easy. There is little reading, which somewhat explains why social media is so popular with such a variety of people.
Unlike social media, blogging is all about words. Reading and communicating opinions and information is the cornerstone of blogging. However, this difference does not mean that blogging and social media are mutually exclusive. In fact, Twitter is known as a micro-blogging platform due to its limits on characters but not on writing. If Twitter can bridge the gap like that and be both a social media hit and a micro-blogging hit, then there is no reason for bloggers to not capitalize on the popularity of this phenomenon.
Social media currently has somewhat of a negative impact on blogging in that it takes away some of the typical audience. However, this trend does not have to continue. If bloggers integrate social media with their blogs they can create a hybrid of the two and become more successful in both.
By combining blogging and social media, readers get the best of both worlds. They get the quick, consistent updates on social media and the more in depth posts of blogging. The choice is theirs. Not only do they have that choice, but they feel more connected to the blogger through the networking of social media, increasing the chances of a steady following of loyal readers.
In actuality, social media is a great boon for intelligent bloggers who use it wisely. Combining the two is the optimum way to get new readers, keep the old ones, and strengthen your audience stability. If you are not using social media in combination with your blogging then you are missing out.
So these are some point indicating Social Media Impact On Blogging.
